Customer Interview 2: Testing water alkalinity at the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Animal Welfare Section

KEM: Could you tell us what led you to choose KEM’s Piston Burette?
Osaka Aquarium: We were looking to replace our old burette with one with similar specs, and after much consideration we chose KEM’s product.

KEM: How has the transition from the old burette to the new one been for you?
Osaka Aquarium: We transitioned from a dial-style burette so it took a little getting used to, but we are now confident with KEM’s product and are using it with zero problems.

KEM: What is one of the advantages of using KEM’s burette?
Osaka Aquarium: One major plus is the fact that we no longer need to recalculate measurement data.

KEM: What kind of tasks are performed by the Animal Welfare Section, and how does our product help with you with these?
Osaka Aquarium: Maintenance and inspection of the water processing system, monitoring and adjusting the properties of our tank water to be as close as possible to those of natural sea water, among other myriad tasks. We use the Piston Burette to measure the alkalinity of our tank water.

KEM: What are your impressions of KEM’s website?
Osaka Aquarium: I felt that KEM’s website was very easy to use, one of the better websites I encountered when shopping around for the burette.

KEM: What can you tell us of KEM’s service leading up to the purchase?
Osaka Aquarium: Thanks to KEM’s swift response to our queries and provision of a demonstration unit for testing, we were able to find and start using a new burette earlier than we expected we could.
