This is because the amount of reagent deterioration can differ depending on the usage conditions and the storage environment.

The letters A, B, C, and so on in the Lot Nos. indicate the month of manufacture (A = January, B = February, C = March, etc.) The two digits following the letter indicate the year of manufacture (specifically, the last two digits of the year). For example, if the Lot No. is L17069, this means that the reagent was manufactured in December of 2017.
